Pushing forward by the reform and opening up, teaching reform arose in the eighties of the twentieth century in our country. Nowadays, in the front of education, to promote the basic education curriculum reform is a great event by our country. For teachers, they should change the traditional concepts of education. For students, they should change the traditional learning methods. Learning Plan Guidance Teaching Model is the important achievement in the quality education in our country, which one of many experiments of teaching reform in the new curriculum reform of basic education. It often tends to be characterized by the student-centered activities and based on learning case. The ultimate goal is to exert the initiative role of the students, improve the ability of self-directed learning and researching cooperatively of the students, achieved full development of the three-dimension-aim which included knowledge mastery, ability development and emotion attitude cultivation. Based on the ideology and politics classroom instruction of the middle school and the present situation of the current teaching reform, this paper analyses the background, the feasibility and the validity of the Learning Plan Guidance Teaching Model in politics teaching. From the perspective of teachers, this method will change the role of the teacher. Teacher’s role will transform the pure knowledge initiator into the promoter, organizer and the shepherd. From the perspective of students, students will transform their study method into one that encourages cultivate exploration, active collaboration rather than rote learning. Learning Plan Guidance Teaching Model can improve the efficiency of learning and developing students’ability. At the same time, we cannot ignore the problems in specific education practice, this paper reconsiders the problem existing in the research and puts forward teaching proposals according to the problems come across in the teaching process.This paper is divided into fort parts:the first part is introduction, which is told about background of topic selecting, research approaches, significance, literature review, etc. The second part is the conclusion of the relating basic theory, including definition, theoretical foundation, and significance of the Learn Plan Guidance Teaching Model. The implementation of Learning Plan Guidance Teaching Model is described in the third part. The forth part presents some relevant strategies according to the problems which exist in the processes of teaching.
