Higher vocational education plays a decisive role in the higher education system, which is the main application of technical personnel carrier. In recent years, with the development of higher vocational education scale, the decline in education quality problem cause the extensive concern of the society from all walks of life. Domestic and foreign higher education evaluation theory and the practice proves that the professional assessment activities can effectively guarantee the quality of higher education. However, from the practice of our country professional assessment activities, the specialized study of professional assessment in higher vocational colleges in our country belongs to the early stage, the theory and practice research remains to be further improved. This research mainly adopts the method of comparison and empirical survey to explore professional assessment of general index construction in higher vocational colleges, to establish suitable for higher vocational colleges in our country real professional evaluation index system of general to provide the beneficial reference. Paper mainly covers the following aspects:first, through the literature review of the relevant professional assessment at home and abroad research, theory and practice for the further development of this study has a positive guiding role; Second, the international professional certification general indicators of comparative study, through using and learning the successful experience of international engineering education professional certification general index, to explore building a scientific, reasonable and suitable for higher vocational colleges professional evaluation index system of general. Third, higher vocational colleges professional assessment of general index of the investigation and study, questionnaire and expert interview, the main purpose is for the construction of vocational colleges professional evaluation index system of general to provide the reality basis.Based on the results of the expert consultation, this study attempted to build the general index structure, the selection of the general indicator elements and defining the meaning of indicator elements. At the same time, through to the 4 students and teachers in higher vocational colleges to carry out the questionnaire survey, respectively from the dimension of elements, the main body dimension, evaluation dimension, through the study found that:the overall situation, higher vocational colleges, teachers and students is targeted to index and process indicators of the evaluation, and on output indicators were low and ignore the sustainable improvement of teaching quality. Second, the higher vocational colleges professional evaluation index system of general building should be both parties related interest subjects to professional talent training quality, especially students and social main body needs. Three. teachers and students think that higher vocational colleges professional evaluation index system of general learning achievement evaluation is very important for students, in general the construction of index system should be to standards, graduate students should achieve on the knowledge, ability and quality requirements for the logical starting point to construct the talent training quality standards.Higher vocational colleges in view of the current professional evaluation index system of general empirical findings, the construction of higher vocational colleges professional evaluation index system of general can from the following five aspects: perfecting.
