Higher vocational education plays a decisive role in the higher education system, which is the main application of technical personnel carrier. In recent years, with the development of higher vocational education scale, the decline in education quality problem cause the extensive concern of the society from all walks of life. Domestic and foreign higher education evaluation theory and the practice proves that the professional assessment activities can effectively guarantee the quality of higher education. However, from the practice of our country professional assessment activities, the specialized study of professional assessment in higher vocational colleges in our country belongs to the early stage, the theory and practice research remains to be further improved. This research mainly adopts the method of comparison and empirical survey to explore professional assessment of general index construction in higher vocational colleges, to establish suitable for higher vocational colleges in our country real professional evaluation index system of general to provide the beneficial reference.
