With the rapid development of higher vocational education,teachers in higher vocational colleges have become the focus of the whole society.The construction of high-quality teachers in higher vocational colleges is the priority among the healthy development of higher vocational education.However,due to the effect of social tradition,in major setting,the phenomena of “lay more stress on science than arts”and “lay more stress on specialty than foundation” exist in higher vocational education,which makes the general foundation teachers face large problems and also the challenges and higher requirements of this kind of teachers' professional development.According to the national teaching training goal in higher vocational colleges,to build a high quality of "double type" teachers is the top priority to realize the talents training goal of higher education,but at present the construction of "double type" teachers in most vocational colleges are limited to specialty teacher,and did not put forward clear requirements of the general foundation teachers,which is not conducive to the growth of teachers and the improvement of teaching quality and achieve the goals of talents cultivation.Meanwhile,in order to adapt to the sustainable development of society and the concept of lifelong education,higher vocational colleges should pay more attention to the humanistic education of general foundation courses and the professional development of general foundation courses teachers.Its importance,necessity and urgency also make the professional development of general foundation courses teachers in higher vocational colleges imperative.The general foundation courses teachers in higher vocational colleges in this study is mainly from the representative public English,the political lesson,the computer culture basic course,the foundation of higher mathematics,the university physical education teachers,based on the teacher professional development theory,sustainable development theory,career theory,which constructed the professional development of general foundation courses teachers HOMM theoretical analysis framework in higher vocational colleges,and through the questionnaire investigation,interview investigation method,literature research methods,do the questionnaire survey to 1429 general foundation course teachers in 48 higher vocational colleges,Interviews and surveys were conducted with 48 general foundation course teachers in14 vocational colleges and literature analysis on theories related to teacher professional development was conducted.Independent sample T test,variance analysis,regression equation analysis and other SPSS data analysis and Nvivo analysis were conducted on "large samples".Based on the analysis of the status quo of the professional development of general foundation course teachers in higher vocational colleges,this paper explores the reasons affecting the professional development of general foundation course teacher in higher vocational colleges,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for effective implementation methods.This is of great theoretical and practical significance to the professional development of in higher vocational colleges.This research built professional development theory of general foundation course teachers in higher vocational colleges named HOMM,HOMM sounds like "HOME",Chinese translation for "JIA",aimed at in professional development HOMM theory under the management regime of UMBRELL-A-Pro,general foundation course teachers,through Multipath of professional development,can achieve the connotation construction in order to achieve the final objectives.Combining quantitative and qualitative research,this paper clarifies the problems existing in the professional development of general foundation course teachers in higher vocational colleges,and clarifies the gap between reality and ideal.The main problem is that the professional development goal of teachers in general foundation course is not clear.Lack of strong will and motivation for development;The construction of campus teachers' morality needs to be strengthened;Practical knowledge can not meet the requirements of vocational education;Weak professional ability;The quality of professional services is not high;Single approach to professional development;The management system is not comprehensive and so on.This study puts forward the fundamental reasons for the problems in the professional development of the teachers in general foundation course in higher vocational colleges,including social environment,schools and teachers themselves,and elaborates on the reasons affecting the professional development of teachers of public basic courses from 13 causes.For the effective solution to provide basis and ideas,but also hope to be able to multi-cooperation,common solution.In view of the problems existing in the professional development of the teachers in general foundation course in higher vocational colleges,and from the essential characteristics and requirements of themselves and the characteristics of general foundation course in higher vocational colleges,this study discusses the basic strategies and specific measures to improve the professional development of teachers of public basic courses in higher vocational colleges.It mainly includes strengthening the state support to create a harmonious campus atmosphere;Encouraging teachers of public basic courses in higher vocational colleges to take the initiative to improve their professional quality;Improving the professional development of the teachers in general foundation course in higher vocational colleges;We will improve the professional development system for teachers of public basic courses in higher vocational colleges.
