This paper aims to study the evolution of the goal of "Ideological Education" in the history curriculum standard(Syllabus)of senior high school since 1978.According to the stage characteristics of the "Ideological Education" objectives in the curriculum standards(Syllabus)in different periods,the "Ideological Education" objectives in the history curriculum standards(Syllabus)of ordinary senior high schools have experienced four changes since 1978.In the period of "double basic objectives"(1978.2-1996.10),the syllabus of history for junior high school and senior high school has not been separated,which is collectively called "Middle School History Syllabus".Four "Middle School History Syllabus" were issued in this stage.The outline stipulates that the "Ideological Education" in senior high school should highlight the education of "historical view of class struggle",but the requirement for the education of "historical view of class struggle" shows a trend from strong to weak;the goal requirement of "devoting oneself to socialist modernization" education and "national conditions education" is gradually strengthened.The reasons for the changes are mainly due to the "rectifying chaos" in the work of "science and education",the convening of the 11 th National Congress of the CPC and the Third Plenary Session of the11 th Central Committee of the CPC,the promulgation of the decision of the CPC Central Committee on the reform of the education system,and the spread of bourgeois liberalization thoughts.Influenced by the change of the goal of "Ideological Education" in the outline,the high school history textbook published by PEP has gradually reduced the content of "class struggle historical view" in the content of "Ideological Education",and added the content of "devoting oneself to socialist modernization" education and national conditions education.In the period of "three tasks"(1996.10-2003.4),the high school history syllabus has been independent,issued three "Full-time Ordinary Senior High School History Syllabus".In terms of the goal of "Ideological Education",the high school history syllabus has the requirements of keeping pace with the times,increasing the requirements of internationalism education,highlighting the cultivation of humanistic quality,and gradually improving the requirements of "Three Outlooks education".The main reasons for the change are the change of political and economic situation at the turn of the century,the comprehensive promotion of quality education,the promotion of history curriculum reform at home and abroad,and the influence of the spirit of the national education work conference.In the content of ideological education,the PEP high school history textbook further overcomes the "left" influence,pays attention to the content of national conditions education and internationalism education,and increases the length of "Humanistic Education" and "Three Outlooks education".In the period of "three-dimensional goals"(2003.4-2017.10),the 2003 "high school history curriculum standard(Experiment)" was issued.The goal of "Ideological Education" in the 2003 high school history curriculum standard highlights the cultivation of emotional attitude,values,life ideal and humanistic spirit.It is mainly due to the influence of the curriculum reform of basic education in various countries in the world and the needs of the reform of basic education curriculum in China.In the content of "Ideological Education",the PEP high school history textbookattaches importance to infiltrating the ideological education content from the aspects of political history,economic history and cultural history,increases the teaching content of cultivating life ideal and humanistic spirit,and attaches importance to cultivating students' emotional attitude and values.In the period of "core literacy"(from October 2017 to the present),the curriculum standard of history for senior high school(2017 Edition)was issued.The goal of "Ideological Education" in the history curriculum standard of high school in 2017 focuses on the cultivation of the core quality of "historical materialism" and "national feelings",the promotion of "socialist core values",the education of "four self-confidence" and "five identities",and the education of the important concept of "human destiny community".This is mainly due to the promotion of history curriculum reform at home and abroad,the establishment of the basic task of the moral education and the guidance of Xi Jinping's new China's socialist ideology.The new edition of high school history textbook has added Xi Jinping's new socialist thought with Chinese characteristics to the content of "Ideological Education",and enriched the content of China's socialist China's ideological and theoretical system.
