A Study On The School Adaptation Of Migrant Workers’ Children In Wuhan

With reforming of today’s background, the population structure had changed, migrant workers prefer to flock to cities as whole family. And the scale of migrant workers’ children have been increasing year by year. The education of migrant workers’ children has become the core issue in the process of educational development of China. For the stand of migrant workers’ family, it’s an important way to change their living conditions and social status; for the point of social stability, it prevents social class stiff; for view of the marketing economy, it is a powerful way to construct our stronger human resource country.In recent years, governments also paid more attention to migrant workers’children, a series of education policy came out to emphasize that should give priority to the inflow government and public schools. We should resolve migrant workers’children education problem by multilateral efforts, especially focus on the new problems:how to ensure fairness of education quality and school adaption.In view of this, the paper based on "The process of urbanization and education development research" project. Using the methods of questionnaire, interview and literature analysis to research migrant workers’ children school adaptation status of 6 school in Wuhan. From academic adaptation, relationship adjustment, and psychological adaptation three ways to analysis and discussion. According to the result of empirical analysis and summing up the conclusion, it puts forward some helpful suggestions for solve the future problem.The paper is divided into four parts. At first,introduce research background, purpose, And methods; second part is the literature review part, to definition of related concepts and do some classification; chapter three is data analysis part, including three data dimensions:study, relationship, physical and psychological school adaptability analysis, the possible reasons are also discussed. At end, paper puts forward some helpful suggestions to help migrant workers’children to adapt city school better.
