With the accelerated process of urbanization development, an increasing number of migrant workers’children enrolled in city schools. Schools are important places for their life,their study and their communication. Whether their school adaption is good or not is the key for their study and also a core issue of individual survival and development and an important index for their integration into the city. It is very important to research their school adaptation in urban schools. There are many factors that affect school adaptation, such as social factors, school factors, family factors and personal factors. But the first three play a role through personal factors.Self awareness that is an internal factor. Self-awareness is an important component of self factor, it is an internal factor and determinant that affected school adaptation, it is the foundation of healthy development of individual personality and also an important guarantee for individuals to realize socialization.This research adopts the "teenagers self-awareness scale" and "questionnaire of students living conditions" to investigated two non-state-run schools and one public school. Including509migrant workers’children and339locality census register students. To examine the difference between children of migrant workers and locality census register students on self-awareness and school adaptation, at the same time to discuss the self-awareness and school adaptation development features and their relationship of migrant workers’children. Finally, through educational experiment method to demonstrate the relationship between them, and through improving migrant workers children’s self-awareness, so as to improve students’development levels of school adaptation. For migrant workers’ children science education provides a useful theoretical basis for guidance and education.Conclusions of the paper are as follows:(1)Migrant workers children’s self-awareness and school adaptation levels overall are lower than the local household registration students. Especially self-esteem and anxiety dimension of self awareness show a extremely significant difference. In school adaptation, learning adaptability, the relationship between teachers and students, companion relationship show a significant difference.(2)Overall development of migrant workers children’s self-awareness and schools adaptation is good. Due to grade, gender, learning habits, the parent-child relationship is different, their self-awareness and school adaptation has a significant difference.(3)Migrant workers children’s self-awareness, and school adaptation Interact with each other. In all factor of self-awareness, multiple dimensions has important predictive effect for school adaptation. The ability evaluation,moral evaluation,self-esteem,satisfaction, level of consciousness and self-control ability is more obvious for the forecast of school adaptation development.(4)By adopting group tutorial, head teacher education teaching reform, and family education method to guide intervention strategy measures six dimensions of self-consciousness self-control, capacity evaluation and moral evaluation, self-esteem and satisfaction and conscientiously implement effective interventions, significant difference before and after. Dramatically improve self-awareness level, school to adapt to the development level also be improved.
