| With the continuous advancement of the eighth round of new curriculum reform, history course classroom teaching has witnessed a transformation from emphasizing on knowledge acquisition to emphasizing on both knowledge and ability. What’s more, more and more attention has been paid to cultivate students’ history thinking ability, and the curriculum implementation should be beneficial to transform the way of teachers’ teaching methods and students’ learning methods has been put forward explicitly. Meanwhile, The Standard of History Curriculum for High School Students has suggested that attention should be paid to the cultivation of the students’ history awareness, and in the hope that course contents should reflect more on the diversity and contemporaneity of history. Therefore, it’s very necessary for front-line history teachers and those normal university graduates who yearn for devoting themselves to history teaching to focus on the latest research findings of history, trace the dynamic development of history and introduce them into history teaching.However, the latest research findings of history, as a vital teaching resource, haven’t been used properly in the history teaching practice in senior high school. Through students’ questionnaires and the history teacher’interview, the author found that the reasons are as follows:Firstly, the teacher himself lacks of the latest historical awareness, and attaches little importance to the latest history research findings. Secondly, the students get heavy study burden and few opportunities for the contact of the latest history research findings. Because of this, the author will introduce the latest history research findings related to Ban on Maritime Trade Policy and Close-Door Policy into history classroom teaching in senior high school, so as to complete the teaching design in this section, which may have implications for further researches in some extent.The New Curriculum Reform strives to build a new type of relationship between teachers and students where the students act as main body and teachers act as leadership. As a successful history classroom teaching, teachers play an important role undoubtedly. The introduction of the latest history research findings into history classroom teaching also puts forward a series of requirements for teachers in senior high school, namely, teachers should set up the awareness of history in front and focus on dynamic research on history. When it comes to introduce the latest history research findings into history classroom teaching, teachers should observe the New Curriculum Standard, should adhere to the principle of moderate quality and quantity. Meanwhile, teachers should improve their language skills, master certain teaching methods and motivate students’ learning interest. Furthermore, the evaluation and reflection after class is indispensable, teachers growing up in the process of reflection paves the way to become mature educators. |
