Since entering 21 centuries, Information literacy (IL) has been paid high attention in the curriculum reform of basic education in various countries, as one aspect of the comprehensive quality of students, the IL has the vital function for the students in the basic education stage to adapt to the society and solve all kinds of learning problems, which emphasized as an important object in basic education. China’s national conditions determine the rural primary and secondary schools is a special and large group, the development of rural basic education affects the level of the overall development of education and teaching directly, by promoting information literacy level of basic education in rural primary and secondary students, realizing the rapid development of rural basic education information gradually, and would promoting the overall progress of educational information in our country greatly. Therefore, combined with the current and emerging flipped classroom teaching mode, and the rapid spread of mobile terminal, this paper has studied the information literacy status of rural primary and middle school students. In this paper, the study used a questionnaire survey to explore the influence of the flipped classroom teaching mode (FCTM) on the students’ IL in a rural middle school. It adopts the comparing method between the experimental class and the compared class, and the study finds that the FCTM under the educational information effectively enhance the IL of the experimental classes. Finally, the paper put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the findings and in accordance with the actual situation in rural primary and secondary schools, and hope to make a modest contribution from enhancing the level of information literacy and the education level in rural primary and secondary schools, narrowing the gap between urban and rural education teaching.This paper is divided into five parts. Introduction section introduces research background, purpose, significance and the idea of drafting. The second part is literature review, it defines the related concepts in this paper, and analyzed the results of previous studies in the students’information literacy and the flipped classroom teaching in detail. The third part is mainly about of a rural school which has carried out flipped classroom teaching mode based on mobile learning terminal, study the impact of the flipped classroom teaching mode under the background of informationization on students’ information literacy, and through detailed data analysis concluded. The fourth part puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures to cultivate and improve the IT of rural primary and middle school students combined conclusions:rational use of mobile learning terminal, strengthen the information construction of rural school, seriously rural schools IT courses, enhance teachers’ information literacy, promotion of new teaching model. The fifth part concludes the paper and paper prospect outlook.
