With the development of economics, the speed of urbanization is being accelerated. Because of the continuous expansion of cities, those villages around the cities are being urbanized gradually. During the process of urbanization, a high percentage of cultivated land was transformed into industrial and commercial land. As a consequence, there are more and more peasants losing their lands. And then these land-lost peasants are placed in the new pattern communities, which are in the reconstructed fields of villages in the city.However. the landless cannot integrate themselves well into the fabric of city life, no matter of their lifestyle, ideas, values or skills. The problem of these dispossessed villagers reflects the deficiency of urban community public service and social insurance. Nowadays, there exit cultural, economic and service-oriented conflicts in their daily life after they lost their cultivated lands. Only by solving the problem of this group of people, stable development could be realized. This paper, which chose the Jinjulu community of Lianmeng sub-district in Kunming as the research object, tries to analyze that how to improve the comprehensive quality of land-lost farmers by conducting community education. Based on literature collecting and field work, the author defined the concepts of urbanization and community education and the floating population theory. After theoretical arrangement, the author conducted interviews with land-lost farmers in this community and community workers. According to the field research and depth interviews, the author learned that there are two root causes of problems existing in the practice of community education.
