Research On The Design And Development Of The IPad-based Interactive E-textbook

With the advent of the mobile Internet era, building smart learning environment requires new teaching resources. The e-textbook is inevitable trend of textbooks more digitally and intelligently. It provides a good environment for the development of e-textbooks. At present, iPad has the most fluency system and rich resources in PC. It has been widely used in classroom teaching and all kinds of training. National Medium and Long Term Educational Reform and Development Plan (2011-2020) had been released. The file provides the policy about research on the e-textbook based on iPad.The e-textbook is different from the traditional paper book. The functions of multimedia and interactive have become the innovative points of the design. Interactive e-textbook means the Interaction between user and reading terminal, user and learning content, user and teaching community, teachers and learners. The design of interactive e-textbook requires teaching design, content reconstruction, as one of the integrated design. To explore a new model of interactive teaching that can satisfy learners’ individual learning, and support learners to learn easily and effectively.I define the concept of the interactive e-textbook. Simultaneously, I design and develop for the interactive e-textbook, based on the constructivism theory, multimedia learning theory and interaction design theory. Next, comparing the reading terminals and standards of e-textbooks, and explain the advantages of iPad and iBooks2.0 format. I try to build a model of the design and development process about the interactive e-textbook based on iPad.
