"Adapt beyond law" refers to the education of ideological and political educator must adapt to and transcend the ideological and moral status of the student and social status. This paper aimed to explore the application of ideological and political education in secondary schools.This thesis made a detailed explanation of "Adapt beyond law ", and analyzed the premise and basis of the law applied to teaching practice combined with the teaching practice. Then we researched the teachers and students in secondary schools through field visits and questionnaire and found that " Adapt beyond law " applied to the practice of high school ideological and political education still exist some problems, mainly in the following aspects:firstly, ideological and political teachers do not understand the meaning of " Adapt beyond law " deeply and can not grasp the degree of "adapt" or "beyond". Secondly, the high school ideological and political education, ignores the students’ "subjectivity’", did not "beyond" the students’ideological and moral status based on "adapt". Thirdly, the thought of "life political education" has not been fully reflected, it is difficult for students to combine the related knowledge and practical life and then translate into their own ideological and moral cultivation. The causes of these problems are mainly the following aspects:first, ideological and political teachers’ ability of theory into practice is insufficient. Second, middle school politics teachers lack of understanding of "inter subjectivity". Third, education idea is backward. Fourth, the environment of ideological and political education obstructs its development. The way of improving and optimizing "Adapt beyond law" of the application mainly contains the following aspects:first, grasp the meaning of "adapt beyond law" more deeply, "adapt" is dynamic "adapt" and "beyond" is forward-looking "beyond". Secondly, grasp the degree of "adaptation" and "beyond". Education activities must adapt and "moderate" beyond education reality, beyond and "moderate" adapt to the social development. They must focus different emphases on different objects and pay attention to grasp the "moderate". Thirdly, correctly understand and deal with the relation of the "adaptation" and "beyond". Fourth, fully develop the subjective activity of both sides of education and educational institution.This paper aims to study how to apply "adapt beyond law" to the ideological and political education in middle school and methods of application in all aspects of the specific. We intend to constantly dig new ways and methods in the process of teaching ideological and political in secondary schools and constantly improve the application and research of "Adapt beyond law".
