On The Identity Education Of College Students On The Road Of Socialism With Chinese Characteristics

It has been clearly put forward in the 18th CPC National Congress that it’s necessary to enhance people’s sense of identity to the road, theory and system of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and also firm the confidence to that. This is also the requirement to the direction and principle of college students’political identity education. In addition to that, it is the important content and task of political education in university as well. College students’ political identity education is not only the education of political theory, political system and identity, but also the education of outlook on life, world and history. At present, the values of college students have been greatly affected by the international and domestic social environment. The struggle for our young generation is increasing between Western hostile forces and the Communist Party, Which is manifested in the penetration of ideology, convey of values, and the competition of culture. But in the social transition period, contemporary college students show various, polytropic and different characteristics to the identity of the road of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. These cases show that strengthening the education of College Students’political identity, and raising the identification and self-confidence on the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics is an important topic in the current political theory education and practice. It is worthy of exploring in depth and answering.On the basis of relevant theory and research of political identity education, this paper combines empirical and theoretical research, using the relevant theoretical knowledge and research methods of political education, psychology, sociology, political science. Based on the survey results, aiming to further enhance the effectiveness of political education, this paper conducts a special study on the basic theory of contemporary college students’ education political identity, the significance of enhancing the identification of Chinese characteristic socialist road, the identity education status, existing problems and influencing factors of socialist Chinese characteristics, and the countermeasures of strengthening college students’Chinese socialist identity education. This paper is helpful to deepen the College Students’political identity education rules and characteristics, tasks and contents, ways and methods problems during the new period, it is useful to deepen the research of cultivating and practicing socialist core values of theory and practice problems in college students, deepen the research of the effectiveness of ideological and political education in university.
