The brain is an important tool for people to obtain knowledge, for the exchange of ideas. The human brain is divided into left and right hemispheres, the left hemisphere is in charge of language, logical thinking, the language processing information, slower; right hemisphere competent image, emotion, in the form of image to process information faster. The right brain development potential of art education is of great significance, art is not only to cultivate people’s sentiments, and can perfect personality, enhance the creativity, and promote the comprehensive and integrated development of the people. The current education had paid much attention to the left side of the brain and ignores the right brain development. However, the 21st century is the era of competition for talent, the coordinated development of science and art is a way out for the future society, so the potential of right brain development is imminent.Based on the development of the right brain potential as a research and analysis right brain to develop the whole brain link function, determine it in teaching in training the importance of creative thinking. Secondly, the current attention to students for the background, through the right brain to creativity development, promotes the coordinated development of the whole brain, cause the attention of people to the field. Finally, the combination of right and fine arts discipline, brain research for the huge potential of the creativity, the image thinking, find a feasible methods to promote the development of right brain thinking, cultivate students’ creativity.This paper according to the brain science research, in brain science to the art education of inquiry experiment based on, carefully designed for a teaching plan, the inquiry style teaching mode of experiment, studied by developing the right brain and ability of students before and after the significant changes. The results showed that in art education in the development of human brain can effectively promote the intellectual development, improve student achievement and overall quality, promote the development of people’s memory, to promote changes in the multiple intelligences of students. So, in the development of brain in high school art teaching is an effective way to promote the comprehensive development of people.
