The Research On The Leisure Quality Improvement Of The Contemporary College Students

In the contemporary society, leisure becomes an inseparable part of modern life, and their relationship is becoming increasingly close. The amount of leisure time and the leisure quality are not only the important indicators to measure the degree of social civilization, but also the persistent stage for individual development. Contemporary college students have sufficient leisure time, which is the first premise to realize leisure. Therefore as the important leisure group, for the development of the college students, it is of great significance to pay attention to the existing problems in the leisure life quality of college students and then put forward the relevant countermeasures to solve the problems from the perspective of ideological and political education. According to the related contents of leisure quality improvement of the contemporary college students, this dissertation is divided into four parts:On the basis of the illustration on the connotation and basic characteristics of leisure, the first part highlights the value of leisure for people, namely that it can add pleasure to people’s life, stimulate the creative potential of people, improves people’s cultural quality. This part specially emphasizes the importance of improving leisure quality for the healthy development of college students, which means that leisure effectively adjusts the students’ physical and mental state, improves college students’ sense of social existence, and then promotes the life self-consciousness of college students.On the basis of grasping the basic features of leisure and its value for the college students’ development, the second part analyzes the current situation of college students’ leisure based on the questionnaires of college students’ leisure life conditions. In general, college students’ leisure mode is rich and colorful with high enthusiasm for leisure. However in terms of the leisure quality, different problems exist, such as the low level of leisure concept, single leisure activity, the blindness of leisure life, and the shallow leisure experiences, etc.The third part comprehensively analyzes the reasons behind the leisure problems of the contemporary college students. The expansion of instrumental rationality weakens the value of leisure; the lack of leisure education in the contemporary society and the lack of individual leisure ability weaken the contemporary college students’ understanding of the significance of leisure, thus affecting their leisure experiences and their leisure quality as well.The fourth part puts forward the relevant countermeasures to solve the problems from the perspective of ideological and political education based on the reasons behind the leisure problems of college students. The countermeasures are as follows:include the leisure education in subject teaching to deepen the students’ understanding of leisure; improve the quality of leisure educators so as to effectively guide the leisure behaviors of college students; create a good leisure situation to improve the college students’ leisure emotional experience; focus on individual development and reshape the perception of leisure concept; rely on the national leisure policy to provide more favorable conditions for the college students’ leisure.
