Research On Leisure Ability Of College Students And The System For Culturing The College Students’ Leisure Ability

The external support conditions for culturing the leisure ability of college students is as thestarting point In this paper and it concerns the development of the college students’ leisureability. First, analyze and summarize the four elements of leisure ability which are leisureawareness, leisure self-conscious, leisure skills, leisure decision making ability in the theoreticalpoint of view; five main features of leisure ability which are instinct, acquired plasticity, overall,hierarchy and stage; main factors for leisure ability which are leisure environment and leisureeducation. According to the main factors, the system for culturing the leisure ability of thecollege students includes leisure environment system and education system. As the main factorsfor human development which are culture and material supply, the leisure environment systemis divided into cultural environment and physical environment. According to the main livingspace of the college students, the leisure environment is divided into family leisure cultural andleisure physical environment, universities leisure culture and leisure physical environment,social leisure cultural and leisure physical environment. According to the different kinds ofeducation, leisure education is divided into self-leisure education, family leisure education,college leisure education and social leisure education. Secondly,"the questionnaire for thesituation of college students’ leisure life" was made according to the four elements of the leisureability. The results of the survey was that (1) Leisure awareness: the level of leisure values ofthe college students is low, half of the college student’ leisure attitude are positive, half of themare passive,the overall level is not high and the college students have certain awareness ofleisure time, leisure information, recreational resources;(2) leisure self-conscious: The goal oftheir leisure activities, leisure interests, leisure needs are clear;(3) the college students haveleisure activities skills but have not much kinds of leisure activities skills, have the ability ofmanaging leisure time, obtaining leisure information obtain, utilizing recreation resource, butthe ability is poor, and have interpersonal awareness;(4) the ability of leisure decisions making:the ability of leisure selection is strong,the ability of leisure regulation and planning is poor.Finally, the countermeasures which can help the system develop the leisure ability of thecollege students was proposed on the aspect of leisure l environment and leisure education.Thecountermeasures on the leisure environment are (1) to transform and universal our traditionalelegant leisure culture (2) to provide more places and opportunities of contacting andunderstanding high-level leisure culture for college students (3) to optimize the atmosphere of family leisure culture (4) to change the concept of family education for their children (5) toimprove the university leisure environment (6) to concern the opportunities providing of leisureexperience and plan (7) to develop the leisure system; The countermeasures on the leisureeducation are that (1) quality education should be actively implemented in our country (2) tostrengthen the leisure education of college students (3) to strengthen family and social concernsand development of leisure education for college students(4) to develop and improve the leisureeducation in college.
