The implementation of the "new standard" in effectively promote students’ intellectual ability full development, overall improve their own quality, diverse music activities carried out has become important way of aesthetic education in school work. Under the background of today’s education, music education work important has been the public awareness and accepted; Especially the music aesthetic education to the cultivation of good behavior, shaping of the aesthetic consciousness, intelligence and the development of various abilities training and psychological health of the formation of the positive role. "Aesthetic as the core, interests as power, facing all students, pay attention to personality development; pay attention to music practice; encourage music creation; promote science comprehensive; to carry forward the national music; understand diversified evaluation mechanism". The idea for music education to the promotion of the important significance and value to further confirm the significance of music study outside the classroom. This paper with three pupils from a primary school in wuhan city hongshan district as the research object, using literature method, questionnaire, investigation, interview method and data analysis method of the present situation of the research methods to the current primary school extracurricular music learning and the existing problems are discussed, and according to the problem of rational Suggestions and opinions, to sum up, this thesis will expounds from the four parts of this problem. The introduction part of the research question of the origin, research content and significance, research status, research method and train of thought are expounded; The first chapter is about learning the elementary student extracurricular music file and define related concepts and theoretical basis; The second chapter for the current situation of wuhan city hongshan district elementary student extracurricular music learning survey; The third chapter is the present situation of wuhan hongshan district elementary student extracurricular music learning results in this, and analysis; The fourth chapter is based on the current existing problems, and to the future elementary countermeasures, this paper discusses the development of music study outside the classroom.
