With the new crown epidemic raging, people are paying more and more attention to their health,of which enhancing the physical health of junior high school students has become a matter of urgency.Middle school students are under a lot of academic pressure and families and schools place too much emphasis on teaching students cultural subjects.Physical education classes in schools are characterised by tight hours, low practice density and difficulty in mastering skills, which in turn lead to many serious problems in students’ physical health. This paper takes the implementation of PE extra-curricular work in junior high schools in Yining as the research object, and uses questionnaires, interviews and literature to develop the research of this paper. The research analysis found that the value of the current PE mid-term examination is gradually increasing, the rigour and standardisation of PE extra-curricular work is not enough, supervision and evaluation are formal, and sports safety is not guaranteed, which not only affects students’ mastery of motor skills, but also seriously affects the enhancement of students’ physical health. The research in this paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which provides a comprehensive discussion of the rationale for the selection of the topic, the significance of the study, the core concepts and the feasibility analysis,so as to pave and prepare the way for the research that follows. The second chapter is a review of domestic and international literature, which provides a comprehensive analysis and research on the current situation of extra-curricular work in physical education at home and abroad, laying a solid foundation for this study.Chapter 3 is the analysis of research findings. This part analyses five aspects: the basic situation of extra-curricular homework development, design analysis, implementation, evaluation and feedback. The analysis of the study yielded the following results.Firstly, the continuity of the implementation of extra-curricular PE homework is weak and parents’ attitudes towards extra-curricular PE homework are uncertain;secondly, teachers’ motivation is lacking, the crux of which is that extra-curricular PE homework, from assignment to implementation and then to evaluation and feedback, has many links and is difficult to monitor, increasing the workload of PE teachers;thirdly, the form of extra-curricular PE homework is single and students’ completion is poor;fourthly, the students’ sports safety in completing homework is not guaranteed;fifth, parents’ efforts to accompany and monitor students in completing extra-curricular PE homework are inadequate;sixth, the inadequacy of the evaluation and monitoring mechanism.Chapter 4 analyses the problems and causes of extra-curricular homework in PE.A comprehensive analysis of the problems and causes is carried out from three aspects: school, family and community.Chapter 5 analyses the current situation of extra-curricular homework in PE,the problems and the causes of the problems, and proposes some effective strategies. The research in this paper can enrich the design and implementation system of extra-curricular homework in physical education and provide a theoretical research basis and entry point for others’ subsequent studies. |
