Research On The Cultivation Of New Type Of Professional Farmers

China has traditionally been an agricultural country and the "three rural problems" is always a key research subject of governments at all levels. At present, the problem of lacking high quality and practical rural talents caused by the immigration of rural labors is getting increasingly pressing. Obviously, the quality status of rural talents is a far cry from meeting the requirements of modern agriculture development. In 2012, fostering new professional farmers was first put forward in No.l Central Document, which aims to cultivate a new type of well-educated farmers with entrepreneurship and comprehensive knowledge of operation, management and professional expertise. It is not only one of the countermeasures to the problem mentioned above, but also the key to solve the problem of "who will be the farmers" in the future. What’s more, it is also the urgent demand of the implementation of agricultural modernization.Based on the Marxist theory of person’s full scale development, theory of adult education, this thesis makes an empirical study of the cultivating work of new type of professional farmers in recent years in Huzhou, and analyzes the basic situation of agriculture and rural labor force as well as the cultivating practice of new type of professional farmers in Huzhou. The existing problems are focused and the countermeasures are put forward in this thesis.This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter states situation background of cultivating the new type of professional farmers in our country, illustrates the purpose of this study and the significance, discusses the domestic and foreign research status respectively, and simply elaborates the research methods and technical route. The second chapter defines the concept of a new type of professional farmers, and discusses the corresponding theoretical foundation. The third chapter focuses on analyzing the present situation of cultivating the new type of professional farmers and existing problems in Huzhou. The fourth chapter puts forward some countermeasures to improve the work of cultivating new type of professional farmers in Huzhou by improving the top-level design of policy and regulation, systematically planning and implementing the cultivating engineering, optimizing environment of cultivation, innovating the ways of development and consolidating the efficiency of breeding.
