In today’s society is in the information era of rapid development of science and technology, the traditional way of reading more and more difficult to load than current is still in the growth of the state of the excess amount of information, how to quickly and efficiently to obtain the information they need to make their own become the immediate problem. Since world war ii, the visual reading of research was carried out in many countries, not only opened the visual reading course and school, also trained a large number of speed reading. Although visual reading research in China started late, but development is rapid, and get some results. This research through the part of the primary school grade four of yinchuan reading present situation investigation, discovered in the fourth grade stage, the students’ reading situation is not optimistic, by reading speed and reading a lot the students can expand and improve their knowledge capacity.Visual reading is a "the strait reflect of eyes brain," the scientific use of eyes and mental reading method, and the effective reading method applied to the primary school classroom, exerted its advantages, and it will produce very big effect on the students’ reading efficiency.This research related with the other past one, that on the basis of the theoretical basis of visual physiology, psychology and linguistics, combining with the characteristics of fourth grade students’ mind, and the elements of a visual reading ability from factors that affect visual reading as a starting point, the visual reading training system is designed and developed, using the means of information technology in primary school grade four visual reading teaching practice, explores visual reading training to promote the efficiency of their reading, and reflect on practical process, put forward the proposal.This research uses a natural experimental method, selecting two languages result is close to primary school grade four class, whether by visual reading training will be randomly assigned to the experimental classes and that in comparative classes, the dependent variable as the reading speed and understanding memory rate, results show that the experimental classes of students reading speed and understanding memory rate were significantly increased, after all. Finally, ①to sum up the application of visual reading training system effect is very obvious and get the expected result.② Visual reading training brings profound influence on students, shows the visual reading training to improve the students’ reading habits and improves the efficiency of reading; It has inspired the students’ interest in reading, has increased the reading quantity; It can improve the students’ concentration and memory; It can improve the students’ comprehensive ability.③Visual reading training and the effective combination of school curriculum to promote the teaching of school education.
