At present, mental health curriculum is still in the immature stage of development, which is chaotic, systematic and not standardized, and there is no clear standard teaching model. Compared with other countries, mental health curriculum has been designed by the traditional model of course. But traditional teaching methods contribute to students’ cognitive development, rather than insight on the emotional value. This way is difficult to achieve the goal of teaching mental health education curriculum, because it is inconsistent with the goal of mental health curriculum.As a new teaching mode, the Presentation-Assimilation-Discussion class breaks the shortcomings of traditional classroom, this disadvantage caused by active teachers and passive students. The form of this class is divided into three parts, include presentation, assimilation and discussions. The time period of the three processes are clear, so this class is also named the PAD class. With the students’comprehension, experience, demonstration, adjustment and absorption, this form suitable for the requirements of mental health education. In regard to the theoretical and practical significance of the conditions, we explore the theory of PAD class in the application of mental health education curriculum, from the angle of binary class. Try to use the mental health education classes for points classroom model, we understand that this mental model and the traditional classroom mode student relationships, motivation, emotion management and other aspects of the differences and relations. We want to know how to establish multi-mode or new mode with the mental health course.Around this goal, we use the teaching intervention model about this study. Research one, we use measuring scale on interpersonal relationships, emotional management, and motivation. In order to know Pad class in the mental health course has been improved the relationships, emotional management, and motivation through data. Research two, we use qualitative methods to evaluate the results.According to the teaching intervention quantitative results and qualitative analysis, the conclusions are following:(1) The Pad class in the mental health course has improved the relationships, emotional management.(2) The Pad class in the mental health course has improved student participation and interaction between teachers and students degrees.
