The students with learning difficulties are those whose mental development is normal but have difficulties and obstacles in school learning. They are generally characterized by low learning interest, weak learning motivation, improper learning methods, academic performance is not ideal. The new curriculum reform requires to adhere to the "student-oriented" education concept. As a special group of teaching subjects, the educational workers should pay more attention to them, this is an urgent mission for the educators.Not until 2012 did Guang Xi province start the implementation of the new curriculum standard. The teaching material planning, the depth of the content, the cultivation of students ability, are the problems of first-line teachers pay close attention to. The performance of this stage is directly related to their academic choices in second year. The freshman general still keep still keep the learning habit in middle school. Thus, their academic performance become worse and they become the students with learning difficulties, which has been the problem of teachers.Faced with this problem, the research combines with the actual situation of Qinzhou Second middle school, adopts the individual cases investigation, personal interview and questionnaire as methods, takes the chemistry course of the students in senior one as the research point. According to the results, I found mainly two kinds of reasons leading to the learning difficulties of students. One is internal factor, which includes lack of interest, weak study motivation, bad study attitude, slight knowledge foundation. Another is the external factor, which includes the heavy study task, the complex of the chemical science, the defect of school education, the influence of teacher and the disadvantages of family education. In order to solve the problems above, I have concluded several solutions accordingly. The internal transfer strategies includes cultivating students’study interest, correcting the learning motivation, teaching them study method and the attribution. The external transfer strategies includes changing the teaching methods improving teachers’cultivation, establishing good family atmosphere.The research aims to provide some guidance and help for my school and the whole northern Bay Area high school. what’s more, I hope this research could contribute to improving the practice teaching of chemistry and promoting the healthy growth of students in high school.
