Daily interaction between teacher and students refers to a basic form of communication concerning knowledge, information, concepts, and emotions between teacher and students in daily school life. This kind of interaction is independent from teaching activities and is free from obvious "work" characteristics.The study of daily interaction between teacher and students is based on the demand of improving the healthy psychological development of teachers and students, the demand of school education, and the demand of the development of the daily interaction between teachers and students.Taking teachers and students of senior grades in Tianjin city Jinnan District xianshuigu of sixth primary school as subjects, this study conducts observation, interview, survey and analysis. According to the investigation, relations among dimensions and factors are analyzed, and problems in daily interactions among this group are detected and analyzed. For instance, the motivation of interaction is still academic. Some teachers value their teachers’dignity too high while thinking little of democracy and equality. Next, some teachers pay too much attention to students’academic achievement while ignoring satisfy students’emotional and personal needs. Besides, there are problems of increasing workload, scarce teachers, and too much flow of teachers. What’s more, there are common interaction barriers between teachers and students. Finally, some individual students of higher grades are found to be rebellious and lonely.Through analysis, it is found that there are several major reasons causing the above-mentioned problem. First, there is a discrepancy of "inequality" between teacher and students’status. Second, the thought of "People First" is not really established. Third, teachers are lacking of communication skills. Fourth, students entering puberty are found to have deviated mental development.According to the actual situation, the author proposes the following suggestions. First, to improve the quality of teachers; second, to build the footstone of teacher-student relationship; third, to arouse the subject consciousness of students; last, to create favorable school atmosphere.In this paper, the author criticizes the current situation of daily interactions between teachers and students, points out the value of daily interactions, and tries to arouse teachers’awareness of daily interaction.
