Today China is in the era of "Internet+", and the explorers in the field of education have always been thinking about how to apply information technology to the field of education, and integrate the information technology with classroom teaching deeply. Under this background, a new form and way of teaching--micro lecture, arises at the historic moment. In this thesis, we combine the relevant literature data home and abroad, take a high school in Tianjin as an example for empirical investigation, fully understand the basic situation of teachers in curriculum design as well as the confusion and problems through the form of questionnaires and interviews, and lay a foundation for better designing the micro lecture. This thesis is divided into five chapters, and the main content and the structure are as follows:The first chapter is the summary, mainly introducing four parts as the research background, purpose, content, significance, research ideas, research methods and the research overview of micro lecture.The second chapter is the theoretical part, mainly elucidating the micro lecture and related concept, the characteristics of micro lecture and the theoretical basis of micro lecture.The third chapter comprehensively discusses the design goal, design idea, design principle, design content and design process of micro lecture, and give specific argumentation combined with the subject of senior high school English. This part provides theoretical guarantee for empirical research and data analysis in next chapter.The fourth chapter is the empirical research part. This thesis conducts a survey of the teachers in a senior high school of Tianjin through the form of questionnaire and interview, the questionnaire is divided into four aspects, such as external support, cognition, attitude and behavior ability, systemize and analyze the data with SPSS 18.0, and then draw the conclusions:first, the level of the status quo of the micro lecture design is high, but the internal level of each dimension is not balanced; second, the dimension of external support, the micro lecture design is lack of material and policy support, and the training is not enough; third, the dimension of cognition, some teachers are still not clear about the time, content selection and the characteristics of the students in micro lecture design; fourth, the dimension of attitude, some teachers do not select effective languages and teaching methods to impart knowledge, and can not design the micro lecture scrupulously and meticulously; fifth, the dimension of disposing capacity, some teachers are weak in information technology, and have problems in the recording, editing and publishing of the micro video.The fifth chapter is to propose some countermeasures to the problems and deficiencies found in the fourth chapter combining with the possibility and feasibility analysis:first, rely on education policy support and carry out the relevant technical training; second, be explicit about the teaching object, improve cognitive level and strive to be informative; third, pursue preciseness and meticulousness, locate the teaching situation and ensure accurate language; fourth, strengthen self-improvement, pursue full feeling and ensure the voice loud and clear; fifth, make personalized video to reveal visual esthetics.
