With the advent of the age of big data, the enhancement of the level of students’ information literacy and information technology is around the corner. However, there are so many serious problems in high school information which bears this task, such as old fashioned content, inadequate periods, fixed teaching mode and repetitive workload, which seriously has affected the development of information technology education.Micro-course focuses on flexible learning in short time with recurrent characteristics which can promote effective teaching of information technology, so the study of "micro-courses" in the design and application of information technology has some real significance. this research bases on information technology curriculum in High school analyzing the current development of micro-courses at home and abroad and its definition, features, principles as well as the concepts and elements. Through the study of ADDIE and the combination with the characteristics of the micro-course, this article presents a model of curriculum design. Meanwhile, in order to verify that the micro-teaching effect of the course, the author selects two classes in grade 2 for non-equivalent control group experiment of the animation design in high school information technology elective II, and develop micro-learning systems that support students’ autonomous learning, meanwhile informing the students through g Wechat ID. Finally, by comparing the tests, works and analysis of questionnaire and other related parameters between the experimental group and the control group, this paper demonstrates the feasibility of micro-courses in the teaching of high school information technology with positive significance of improving teaching and students’ information literacy.
