Secondary vocational school graduates are a group of highly qualified and skilled talents, which is an indispensable force in the development of social economy. This group of employment problems and the state, enterprises and institutions, schools and individuals are closely related. The employment rate of the secondary vocational school graduates has always maintained a high level, but under the beautiful high employment rate figures, hidden problems.Through the research of secondary vocational school graduates employment situation found employment features and problems, then put forward suggestions. For the future of the same type of vocational schools how to solve the employment problems of vocational school students to provide reference, and also lay the foundation for the development of vocational education employment.In this paper, through consulting a large number of secondary vocational student’s employment related information, and the carding analysis at home and abroad, then find the paper starting point. Through the collection of 2006-2014 years of China’s secondary vocational school graduates employment status data for a full range of in-depth analysis, including the employment of vocational graduates, employment rate, employment industry, employment whereabouts, employment channels, employment areas, seven aspects of the quality of employment. The characteristics of the data presented in these seven aspects are described, and it is found that the secondary vocational school graduates have the following characteristics: Secondary vocational school graduates, employment and more concentrated in the eastern and central regions;Processing and manufacturing, and information technology have become popular professionals in secondary vocational schools;The employment rate of secondary vocational school graduates is high and stable;The employment structure of the secondary vocational school graduates is close to the industrial structure adjustment;The industrial distribution, employment direction and employment region of the secondary vocational school students in different areas are related to the economic structure of the region;Secondary vocational graduates are diversify;Secondary vocational schools seek a way out for graduates;Secondary vocational school graduates act as the main force in the development of the local economy.At the same time found that secondary vocational education and graduates have the following problems:Secondary vocational school enrollment and the number of graduates have been reduced;Secondary vocational school professionals setting unreasonable;Secondary vocational graduates professional counterparts rate are not high;The low security and low stability of the employment of the graduates of the secondary vocational school;The salary level of the secondary vocational school graduates is low;Uneven distribution of teacher resources in secondary vocational schools;Secondary vocational school graduates to obtain vocational qualification certificate coverage needs to be improved.According to the characteristics and problems of the employment of the secondary vocational school graduates, this paper puts forward the following suggestions:The state should carry out macro regional planning, each region should combine the national policy and the local characteristics, so as to form a unique, targeted and coordinated development of vocational education;To ensure the coordinated development of the industrial structure, the school should be based on the development and changes of social industrial structure to adjust the training mode and employment recommendation;Secondary vocational schools should strengthen the construction of key professional schools, and continue to maintain the pattern of employment driven enrollment;Schools with local industry, business combined with local economic structure joint training of local economic development needs of high-quality skilled personnel;The state should strengthen the supervision and administration of labor and employment market, guarantee the basic lawful rights and interests of the employment of vocational students;Schools should improve the basic school conditions, to attract students and faculty;The state should improve the rules and regulations of the vocational qualification certificate, the school should realize the mutual accommodation of the diploma and professional qualification certificates, and cultivate the "double certificate" talents.
