Study On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Education Of College Students

Chinese excellent traditional culture is the cultural system shaped through the5,000 years of Chinese history under the influence of its special natural resources,geographical territories, production modes, political constructions, social ideology and living customs. It is of great importance to take the Chinese excellent traditional culture, the essence of Chinese national spirit, as the significant resource for improving the comprehensive quality of college students. To intensify the students’ education of Chinese excellent traditional culture has a potential and irreplaceable function for enriching their national culture knowledge, inspiring their patriotic feelings and humanistic feelings, and moulding their healthy personality.However, this study finds that there exists many problems in the education of Chinese excellent traditional culture, such as students’ lacking of initiative, their insufficient knowledge of the culture, and the unsatisfactory atmosphere of learning the culture. The main reasons of causing these problems are the weakening of traditional culture since modern times, the impact of internet culture, and the neglecting of traditional culture during the higher education development.Facing the present situation of Chinese excellent traditional culture education,and globalization, it is imperative to intensify the education of Chinese excellent traditional culture to college students. The focus should be on patriotism education,social care education,personality cultivation. Under the guidance of Marxism,the education should be carried out through inheritance and innovation, referring and absorbing foreign outstanding cultural achievements and combining explicit education and implicit education. In practice, the education also needs to strengthen the construction of traditional cultural courses, give play to class teaching, improve the cultural quality of teachers and their model guide function, build the atmosphere of traditional culture to bring into play of the function of campus culture, strengthen college students’ social practice to give play to the educational role of regional culture resources.
