Since the 1990 s, with the development of economy, our country gradually entered the period of social transformation. it made our country appear a large number of urban poor, from the perspective of personal, family and social,these poor children education problems are urgently needed to solve. In the process of transformation, the educational fairness of the urban poor families children has become the focus of the government, academia and society. In the national bureau of statistics survey shows:in 1996,the national poverty rate was 4.2%, the national poverty rate was 5.3% in2006. To take GuangDong as an example, the children from the families of laid-off workers,unemployed, odd jobs without a steady income generally do not have a high level of education.The phenomenon has become the important relation to the social stability and development.The children education problem of urban poor families is essentially a problem of educational fairness,it is a ultimate try of aiming at educational equity for the author to analysis children education problems of urban poor families and consider the countermeasures.The educational fairness includes three aspects: First, be sure that everyone enjoys equal basic rights and obligations of the education; Second, the government provides relatively equal chances and conditions to receive education for the citizen; Third, it is relative equal to provide the educational opportunities and the educational effects. According to the results of Gini Coefficients of Education by the measurements of many scholars, there is obviously unfair education in our country. Because education is not only affected by poverty of family, but also point to the poverty of future, under the action of the intergenerational transmission of poverty, it is likely to affect the stability and development of our society that the educational unfair problems of poor families children are not solved.This article is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the main writing ideas of this article, it illustrates the background information, objectives and the meanings,the object of study and research methods are illustrated in this part; The second chapter is to identify the paper’s research scope,it summarizes the present situation of urban poor children education in our country, the writer made a questionnaire survey for the city of M; The third chapter analyzes the problems of urban poor family’s children education. There is from three aspects of the family, theschool, the society; The fourth chapter mainly puts forward the countermeasures to solve the problems of urban poor children education, it includes the guidance of government, the power of the society, the functions of education in families and psychological assistance.As the results of the limitation of family conditions and growing environment atmosphere, Children of poor families are more likely to face the risk of the survival and development, the education problem of the children in poor families is the core of these problems. In this article, the main problems of poor families children’s education are about demand of education resources, present situation of the overall education, the help of the society, and what they have in the quantity and quality of the education resources research.
