Implementing the "Synthesis and Practice" teaching activity is the trend of society development and the latest demand of post-modernism education theory. As a new field of mathematics education, the significance 、 implement principle and evaluation of the "Synthesis and Practice" teaching activity were resumptively conducted in《Full-time compulsory education curriculum standards》. However, there are few researches on the necessity of the course 、 selection of the contents 、concrete-feasible implementing suggestion and instruction to evaluation.Consequently,it’s of great necessity to carry out the education and teaching study on the "Synthesis and Practice" course of mathematics education.The study is launched on the basis of school-based experiment by using many different research methods such as investigation method. And the aim of our study is to find out the current situation of the implementing of the "Synthesis and Practice" course in particular area. By studying literature, refine the strategy of implementing and evaluation, the corresponding feasibility and effectiveness could be verified by school-based research.The main conclusion of our study: Implementing the "Synthesis and Practice" course of mathematics education in junior school can enhance the students’ mathematical quality; The development of the current situation of the implementing of the "Synthesis and Practice" course is out- off- balance, the status is not hopeful; The strategy of implementing is workable and effective; Its evaluation dimension includes class active degree、 quantity and quality of the problems presented or answered in class、quantity and quality of the achievement exhibition、validity of help to the problem put forward by others and so on. And the criterions of evaluation are established on the basis of all above.The study offers some reference value for improve and perfect the curriculum design and implementing theory of "Synthesis and Practice" course in junior school mathematics education.
