The 19 th century since kindergarten of western developed countries the implementation of mixed age education has considerable experience,and developed regions in China kindergarten have also started to follow the west to carry out mixed age grouping of mixed age play. In recent years, the rural preschool education in developed areas of social concern in China’s less, rural township kindergarten games also use mixed age in the form of the game. This study selected Sichuan city of Nanchong province and Guang’an City, 203 preschool teachers as the research object,with the questionnaire and interviews of teachers in kindergarten class or mixed age play to carry out studies on different aspects. In rural kindergartens to carry out the basic situation of mixed age games, the study found that: 70% of the teachers to carry out mixed age games.The types of mixed age games are mainly mixed age character games and mixed age sports games. In the mixed age games, with the participation of young children are mainly teachers. The mixed age play in age groups mainly in large classes and small classes in the. In rural kindergartens to carry out mixed age games of materials, time and space, the study found:mixed age game materials on the number, type, shape and color are put on 3-5. The replacement time and frequency of the mixed age games are mainly changed 1 times per semester. Indoor mixed age of the game time to 21-30 minutes, outdoor mixed age of the game time to more than 31 minutes. The mixed age play is mainly carried out 1 times weekly or monthly. The interior space of mixed age play with the density of 1.5-3square meters / person, outdoor 3-6 square meters / person. In rural kindergartens to carry out mixed age games of the teachers involved in the guidance, the study found that: teachers to carry out mixed age of the game in the process of intervention to cross the main intervention. The researcher analyzed the current situation of the mixed age games in the rural kindergartens, in order to find out the existing problems and reasons,and put forward the strategies.
