Since 21 st Century, Information Technology constantly reaches new milestone with the constantly developing science. In order to adapt to the requirement of the basic education of China, our country is carrying out a new reform for educational curriculum, namely people-oriented education aiming to improve the quality of people.In the study of physics, exploring a new teaching mode is very common to use. It is not only a new type of study recommended teaching method under the requirement of Curriculum Revolution, but also a highly-praised effective teaching method in The high school physics teaching. On the one hand, it can stimulate students’ initiative during the class, making students independent thinking, widely innovating,independently and freely exploring and effectively understanding with the knowledge to solve the problems, so that the passive situation in the class can be changed. On the other hand, teacher guide the students questioning, guessing, exploring in order to develop his characteristics and raise his interest in the class to make the students master the knowledge as well as to enhance his comprehensive quality. Inquiry-Based Teaching deeply illustrated the essential procedure for understanding physics. This mode focus on method and procedure, it can solve the problem of being passive for students to deal with abstract and knowledge during the physics study.This article summarizes the theories about the inquiry teaching method, principles,meaning and steps, combining with the developing history of physics, the physical model, physics experiments, life experience and multimedia model. The article also designs the specific case for high school physics inquiry teaching method.(1) Based on combining the history of physics inquiry teaching method, the article designs of "Newton’s first law" and " Kepler’s movement of the planet" to explore the teaching case. From 3 aspects : The design idea, Scene design,Contextual inquiry, the article analyses the history of physics teaching, and train the students how to summarize the knowledge during the teaching.(2) Based on the established physical model to carry out the exploring teaching model, the article designs "particle" and "pendulum" physical model to explore theteaching case. Explores how to guide students to establish the physical model, to strengthen the students’ ability of abstract thinking.(3) Based on the experience of life to carry out inquiry teaching method, the article designs the "displacement" and "overweight and weightlessness" to explore the teaching case. The article also explores the students how to combine the life experience to carry on the inquiry learning, and cultivate their physical knowledge migration ability.(4) Based on high school physics experimental inquiry teaching method, the article designs the synthesis and decomposition of "concurrent force", "the influencing factors of charge interaction way" to explore the teaching case. the article also explores how the teachers guide their students to explore and develop the students’ ability for experiment operation.(5) Teaching mode based on multimedia to carry out inquiry, the article designs "the law of refraction of light in glass", "oscilloscope tube principle" to explore the teaching case. The article also introduces the importance of application of multimedia in physical exploration model, and how to vividly guide the students further reveal the nature of the physical phenomena.
