Nowadays lower-grade primary school language teaching focuses on literacy teaching, bringing the result that students need to learn quite a lot of spelling and vocabulary. Due to the new curriculum reformation, many educators began to explore the practice of teaching methods, which fit the philosophy of education reform and students’ psychological development, to improve teaching efficiency of Chinese class in lower-grade primary school, changing dull circumstances and mechanical repetition on the traditional classroom. Game teaching, combined game with teaching content,advocates entertaining, so that students learn in a pleasant and efficient situation. Game teaching is attracting the attention of teachers increasingly. However, game teaching practice in lower-grade primary school language teaching segment is still in the exploratory stage, there are still many problems. How to solve these problems in order to carry out effective teaching game is what I want to study in this paper.The research,which is carried out in X primary school, using questionnaires,observation and interviews, combined with literature research, reveals the situation of game teaching in the lower-grade primary school language teaching. Combined with teaching experience, the author wants to find a solution to the problem.The thesis is mainly composed of four parts.The first chapter mainly elaborates the origin of the study, on the basis of this,pointing out the research purpose, research value, research methods, research difficulty and innovation points and research design related content, at the same time, based on the existing domestic and foreign literature in order, summing up the previous research achievements and deficiency, the thesis draws a foothold. Finally, defines the core concept and lists of relevant theoretical support.The second chapter presented three analyzes the status of the use of game teaching in lower-grade primary school language teaching, based on the analysis of the achievements, problems and the cause of the problems.The third chapter analyses how to improve the status of game teaching in lower-grade primary school, and study the corresponding strategies for games teachingpreparation phase, implementation phase and evaluation summary stage.The fourth chapter presents recommendations to improve the status of game teaching,which are promoting teachers’ awareness of the game teaching, improving the ability of teachers teaching the game, strengthening the support of policy.
