The relationship between teachers and students itself has realistic meaning of education. There are problems that teaching relationship is controlled by knowledge and that the care of life is ignored, which make the relationship between teachers and students nervous and lose the value of education. Based on Neil’s caring education theory and response to the demands of humanistic care in education reform, I try to building the caring relationship between teachers and students in order to improve the relationships between teachers and students, to stimulate students’ interest in learning and positive feelings, to improve teachers’ professional happiness and to ultimately achieve the development of harmonious coexistence between teachers and students.The research objects are the teachers、students and leaders of the rural primary school of three towns in Qianjiang Province. It’s carried out the questionnaire and interview in the research, in order to understand the current of the relationship between teachers and students in the rural primary school in Qianjiang Province at present. It’s reflected that the relationship between teachers and students in the rural primary school is indifferent in the survey. It’s embodied in the following aspects. First there is a deviation of identity and psychological distance between teachers and students. Second teachers emphasize on academic and ignore life caring for students. Third teachers and students is lack of communication, whose communication consciousness is weak. Last the face-to-face interaction and practice between teachers and students are deficient.There are many reasons of the alienation of the relationship between teachers and students. The first is teachers’ own factors. On one hand, teachers of the rural primary school follow traditional negative concept and are lack of care consciousness. On the other hand, teachers are lack of care method and ability. The second is that management of the primary school is not reasonable. The last is that the bondage of "unicity" education evaluation system. In addition, there are adverse factors from the family education aspects.The study is on the construction strategy of the caring relationship between teachers and students based on the reasons and the theory of people-oriented. First we should improve teachers’ literacy and ability as the foundation of construction. On one hand, teachers should change ideas and foster a sense of care, On the other hand teachers should develop their professional and improve the capacity of care. The second is that the rural primary school should build ecological field of care including performing the comprehensive practice curriculum based on life and creating the atmosphere of the campus care. The last is that the competent department of education should advocate humanistic care including promoting the people-oriented thoughts and establishing humanized education evaluation system. Furthermore, the family, the force non-governmental organizations and the community should care the rural primary school to build the caring relationship between teachers and students.
