Geographical observation ability is an important component of the students’ intelligence, the cultivation of junior high school students’ geographical observation is not only the requirements of the new curriculum standard, but also the requirements of the nature of the compulsory education geography curriculum. The cultivation of junior high school students’ geographical observation ability is of great significance to develop the intelligence of junior middle school students, to promote the learning of geography knowledge and to cultivate the interest of junior middle school students to geography curriculum.In this paper, the relevant information collected from the geographical observation of the relevant concepts, the observation of the composition of the elements, the quality of observation and the geographical observation of the training strategy of these aspects are analyzed in this paper. According to the previous research, the concept of geographical observation was determined by observing and observing the force,geographical observation and geographical observation. According to the previous research on the components of observation and the quality of observation, combined with the characteristics of junior middle school students and junior high school geography curriculum, the elements of the geographical observation were analyzed.Because the geographical observation inscape is students’ geographical observation force on the basis of the evaluation, according to the geographical observation elements design of junior high school students in geographical observation questionnaire, and of Nanchong municipal middle school part of the junior high school students were investigated. According to the previous research on the cultivation strategy of geographical observation, the paper designs the questionnaire of geography observation of junior high school students, and surveys some of the junior middle school geography teachers. Through the questionnaire analysis, find Nanchong City junior high school students’ geographical observation and cultivation of the geographical observation of junior middle school students exists the following questions: 1, junior high school students of geographical observation activities of participation is not strong; lack of flexibility and agility 2, junior high school students of the geographical observation; 3,field investigation in the geographical observation in culture did not get to play; 4, daily life in the geographical observation didn’t get due attention; 5, schools do not pay enough attention to the geography curriculum. In view of the current junior high schoolgeography observation and problems existed in the training of the junior high school students geographical observation training strategy, training measures include:culture geography students to observe the interest;to guide students to master geographic were observed the necessary knowledge and skills;the culture geography students observation quality; to carry out field study activities;daily life in the geographical observation emphasizes.This study aims to understand the Nanchong City junior high school students geographical observation and training of junior middle school students’ Geography observation in the existing problems proposed some junior high school geography observation strategies of cultivating students, hope can help in junior school students in geographical observation training.
