Traditional culture has been the high school mathematics classroom on the use of general teaching method, teacher occupies the main position, mainly is the teacher to explain, students are responsible for recording, students often appear the class seems to know very well, but the class but can’t do exercises of phenomenon, this phenomenon let students were very distressed, especially met topic discussion don’t know where to start. In the traditional teaching has been unable to meet the needs of the time, the inquiry based teaching to make up for the deficiency of traditional teaching.Moreover, adding situational teaching method to common teaching method is also of great help to the latter. With its inherent characteristic, situational teaching can prompt the course of teaching to be more lively and vivid.The to grasp the exploring type teaching method application in the high school classroom situation, know the inquiry teaching mode can improve the high school student mathematics achievement, high school students students of inquiry learning and the degree of love, and inquiry learning method in high school classroom in application of difficulty degree, whether can fast forward. A questionnaire survey on the application of 1000 copies of inquiry teaching in senior high school mathematics teaching. Through the questionnaire survey results, the followingconclusions are drawn:(1) inquiry based learning method is helpful to improve the shortcomings of traditional teaching.(2) can greatly improve the students’ ability to learn mathematics.(3) can greatly improve students’ mathematical thinking ability.(4) have very great help to improve students’ Non intelligence factors, of mathematics inquiry, students not only to move the brain, thinking, observing, also need to great perseverance and confidence to overcome difficulties and overcome the problem of perseverance. At the same time, in the process of problem solving increased quality, solidarity and mutual assistance.
