Nowadays,the cultivation of innovative spirit and practical ability is the focus of education reform in China.In the actual education and teaching,the cultivation of innovative spirit and practical ability is inseparable from the cultivation of inquiry ability,which is inseparable from the application of inquiry teaching.In addition,the "exam oriented education" for many years has made the students become machines to solve problems and gradually lost interest in learning mathematics.How to cultivate students' inquiry ability and improve students' interest in learning mathematics is a problem that the current mathematics education must pay attention to.In order to cultivate inquiry ability of students and improve the students' interest in learning mathematics,the author,based on his own learning and teaching experience,thinks about this question: Can we combine inquiry teaching concept and origami teaching to put forward some teaching strategies and design a series of origami classes in these classes,students gradually improve their inquiry ability and interest of learning mathematics?In order to study this question,the author first combed the related literature,and put forward a series of teaching strategies that integrate inquiry teaching concept into origami teaching,which includes five aspects:the creation of origami problem situations that can stimulate students' interest in inquiry,guide students to raise perceptual knowledge into rational knowledge,use "What-If-Not" strategy to put forward inquiry problems,explore the process to adapt to students' ability,and train students' inquiry ability step by step.Then he designed and implemented a series of origami teaching cases based on these teaching strategies.After that,he made an empirical analysis to research the teaching effect of these origami classes in an experimental way.By setting up an experimental class and a control class,he used the pretest and post test to analyze the change of students' inquiry ability and interest in mathematics learning with class experiment and questionnaires.Among them,the questions in the questionnaire refer to the change of students' interest in mathematics and inquiry consciousness.The class experiment is to examine the change of students' inquiry ability by putting forward a question background and a series of problem chains in class.The background of the problem is adapted from the crescent problem of the Hippocrates.Four questions in the problem chain are examined whether the students' observation ability is sharp,whether the solution is unique,whether avaluable inquiry can be put forward on the basis of the original question and whether the right method can be chosen to solve the problem.The experimental results show that the origami teaching guided by the inquiry teaching concept really improves students' inquiry ability and enhances their interest in learning mathematics.Surely,when using this teaching strategy,there are some places that need teachers' attention which include the need to choose the appropriate teaching content for origami teaching,do not separate from the textbook,and that teachers should pay attention to the process of inquiry and guidance.
