Our country has carried out eight curriculum reforms in elementary education since the People’s Republic of China was established.During this period,the middle school history curriculum reformed too,and result in study guides have undergone tremendous changes. According to the nature of changes in middle school history curriculum and study guides their development, the study guide of middle school history are divided into three stages: the founding the People’s Republic of China to the reform and opening, reform and opening to the end of the 1990 s, 21 st century. examine the process of changes of study guides of middle school history. And at every stage form content,behavior, approach these aspects to examine the basic situation.By comparing three stages, explore the changes in the study guides of middle school history.In the process of changes, the guides behavior from traditional instilled and presented developed to inspiring and leading.And become more sophisticated, so that the subjectivity of students increasingly apparent.The content of study guides continuously expand the scope,including knowledge, abilities, emotions, attitudes and values. Pay attention to the comprehensive development and personality realization of students.The Way of study guide was originally a single classroom Teaching, and then opened up other channels,such as extracurricular activities, activity curriculum and new digital media.And the use of teaching and learning resources have experienced from textbook centered to the society and life.In summary, the study guides of middle school history experienced the process of modernization. The changes mainly affected by social factors, as well as internal development factors of education.Since the establishment of People’s Republic of China, the study guides of middle school history increasingly respect the internal law of education, and have achieved some success. The process of changes showed some features:the subjective of students gradually highlighting, the behavior growing emphasizing inspiration and guide, guidance contents expanding and the ways diversification.Draw some inspirations from the changes of study guides in middle school history.The study guides of Middle School History should fully respect the dominant position and personality of students, the main character to establish a democratic and equal relationship.And through a variety of ways and means to inspire and guide students to learn history to achieve teaching objectives and promote comprehensive and coordinated development of students.Of course, this requires teachers and students joint efforts.
