In recent years, with the rapid development of education and training industry in China, it has become an indispensable part in China’s national education system, resulting in increasingly fierce competition between education and training institutions. Facing an increasing number of competitors, performance management must be strengthened to enhance teachers’ performance in case of being eliminated from market.Since the advent of performance management in education and training institutions is not too long, how to effectively enhance teachers’ performance is still a problem, such as high-performance teacher evaluation standards, and adverse performance because of improving pay levels, and poor performance result from career development problems. These problems not only affect the level of performance of education and training institutions, but also affect the overall development of it. Bode as an education and training institutions, has established a team of teachers with a certain strength, and personnel training quality has been improving, obtaining a certain degree of social recognition. Recent years, in order to improve teacher performance level, Bode education and training institutions introduced performance management-related knowledge to strengthen teacher performance management, but the effect is not very satisfactory. In order to improve their competitiveness and adaptability, Bode education and training institutions must build an effective and scientific performance management system according to their own characteristics, and continuously explore effective ways to enhance the institutional reform of teacher performance to gain a competitive advantage in the market.Based on the theoretical analysis, questionnaires and interviews are used to articulate the main approaches that Bode education and training institutions adopted to manage performance, investigating main problems in performance planning, performance coaching, performance appraisal, performance feedback, performance improvement,then, analyzing the reasons to these problems from aspects of theoretical, experience, practice. Based on the performance and performance management theories, attempting to come up with a practical performance plan according to the actual situation of Bode education and training institutions from five aspects, namely, design performance management objectives, make performance management standards, implement performance management system, carry out performance interviews and develop performance improvement plan. A dynamic circulation systems, including performance planning, implementation, evaluation, feedback and improvement, are tend to be established. To ensure the smooth implementation of the performance improvement programs of Bode education and training institutions, some safeguard measures are proposed, for instance, increase performance management training, strengthen performance management communication, improve performance evaluation index system, standardize performance management regulation and put more emphasis on performance evaluation results. Hopefully, the performance management level of Bode education and training institutions can get an actual promotion due to this research, meanwhile, providing some reference to other education and training institutions.
