Research On The Current Situation And Development Strategy Of Vocational Guidance In Technical Colleges

The steps of developing modern occupational education was clearly arranged by comments of President Xi, the speech of Premier Li Keqiang, relative decisions from National Vocational Education Conference, construction plan of modern occupational education system and so on, in this 21 century of manufacture industry. Vocational education stands on a more important and strategic place, since the education changes to modern occupational education system from ‘broken education’.This change transforms the purpose of occupational education to intermingle work skills and the professional spirit. For improving employment ability of the young, it is vital to insist on deepening the integration of production and education, cooperating colleges and enterprises, to cultivate technical talents by government and market in fundamental principle – requirement and employment. Therefore, the aim of my research is entirely improving guiding service of technical colleges to help their students employed easily and developing the school specially.This research depended on technical colleges, defined the connotation of vocational guidance, reorganized national and international studies about vocational guidance and practices experience of it, and based on career choices and career development theory. Depending on career guidance surveys of vocational guidance from the Human Resources and Social Security Occupational Skill Testing Center, the research collect, analyze and sort out the situation and the practical problems of organization vocational guidance, and then put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. First of all, government departments should give full play to its macro-control functions, improve vocational guidance policies and regulations, incentives and service system, organize and coordinate the various walks of life as well as the relationship between the various departments, set up employment service network platform, to create a favorable environment for the employment of graduates. Secondly, schools need to improve institutional settings of vocational guidance, build specialized career guidance teachers and rich curriculum form, carry out a variety of vocational guidance, to establish a new career guidance system integrated of multiple subjects to participate and students entrepreneurship awareness.Finally, students need to improve their professional awareness, to plan their own career development, to enhance the ability of self-occupation.This research analyzed the direction of improvement of vocational guidance, to support the government and technical colleges, to provide students and teachers some useful help, so as to provide a reference for improving vocational guidance of vestibule schools.
