Practice And Research Of Guiding Students With Learning Plan Teaching Mode In The First Round Review Of Senior High Three English

With the advancement of the education reform and quality education, English teaching in senior high schools needs accordingly to meet the demands of the New English Curriculum. The internal demands of modern education and teaching require English teachers of senior schools to break the traditional teaching method which only focuses on teachers’ teaching. In order to meet the demands, English teachers of senior schools are supposed to construct an efficient teaching mode which must be in line with cognitive law of contemporary senior high students on the basis of accepting creative and new education theory, with the purpose of improving the efficiency of English class and the students’ autonomous learning ability. In order to improve the efficiency in the first round English review of senior high three, this thesis takes two Level B classes from Xinfeng No.2 High School in Jiangxi Province as example and tries to construct Guiding Students with Learning Plan(GSLP) Teaching Mode in the first round English review of senior high three on the basis of having clear review goals and focusing on the improvement of students’ English language knowledge and ability. It is a teaching mode that applies Guided Learning Plan(GLP) as the teaching material which is written by teachers guided by the students’ learning problems. Through teaching practice, it is proved that the GSLP Teaching Mode makes a big difference in improving the students’ interest in learning English, changing the way the students learn and optimizing the classroom teaching process, which contributes to the improvement of the efficiency in the first round English review of senior high three. Also, It offers some reference for relative researches in the future.
