New curriculum reform requires students to become the main body of classroom learning.Each student should have a certain development, which requires to cultivate students’ s self-study ability.But nowadays the current situation of students’ s dependent in the self-study is still serious, which leads to weak self-study ability.Although new curriculum reform has repeatedly asked teachers to become students’ s directors and collaborators in learning, but few men can do it. A class of time is shorter, so to complete tasks and save time, teachers had better teach directly.Thus teachers’ s attention on the cultivation of self-study ability naturally is not enough, while interpretation teaching method is still dominant, which causes that students are accustomed to passively accepting knowledge and lazy to think. At the same time, we know prominent problems from rural schools in teaching, especially like mathematical that is one of more important subjects, so the paper’s purpose is to develop students’ s mathematical self-study ability in the rural junior middle schools by studying a rural school. This study refer to a large number of outstanding achievements in the domestic and foreign scholars, on this basis, combined with the authors’ s views, and established the research topic in the end.This study aims to find effective methods helping students in the rural schools improve their math scores by cultivating their mathematics self-learning ability.We all know that students in middle school are adolescence,there are changes in all aspects for gentle and treasonous.At this time,it is helpful for their growing up to timely get help and guidance,that junior middle school education is a foreshadowing of education stage.If students’ s self-study ability at this stage can effectively be cultivated,their following learning will be effective.The paper is to study from the following several aspects after the analysis.This study can be divided into the following three parts.The first part mainly introduces the research background, significance and puts forward problems, then after the analysis of literature, this paper introduces the research status at home and abroad and contrasts the two. The second part mainly research contents and methods and theory of improving self-learning ability in mathematics for junior school students,including the concept of self-learning, self-learning ability and self-learning ability in mathematics, the theory basis(here,that is famous theories of some scholars) of cultivating self-learning ability. After that the article investigate the situation of students’ s self-learning ability to find what are the problems in the process of self-learning.The third part analyzes the specific issues arising from the study and put forward specific solutions.In order to detect the validity of measures, the paper specially designs experiments to explore and conclude the experimental results.The study found that the students relatively like mathematics, so they can basically preview in advance.But due to weak self-study ability,learning mathematics is not easy for them.In view of the difficult mathematics itself and few students who have better basic knowledge in mathematics, even if some students have self-study,the learning is not effective.While grasping mathematics knowledge is not solid for some students whose knowledge is empty, so it is not easy to self-learning successfully. Therefor,we have taken some measures to improve students’ s self-learning ability in mathematics ability on account of the problems arising from rural students,such as constructing R&D Team, and building up effective classroom mode.To verify the feasibility of our ideas,the result is contenting by choosing some students to experiment in a while, which found that the students’ s self-learning in mathematics has been improved through being cultivated after a period of time. For another thing,teachers and students are content with our measures, and this study also basically reach the requirement.However, because time is shorter, to some extent,the results will inevitably appear certain errors to effect on the study.The final purpose of the study is to help students learn mathematics well and provide convenience in the following teaching.
