Learning interest is a very important factor to promote students' mathematics learning.It is an important sign of whether students' subject development is long-term or not.Mathematics educators in rural areas at the stage of compulsory education should pay more attention to this point.Mathematics learning interest is built on the basis of students' learning interest.Students' learning interest needs systematic cultivation from individuals,families,teachers,schools and society.Therefore,the influencing factors and cultivation strategies involved in this paper come from all sides.Based on the current situation of the research on students' interest in mathematics learning in the education circle,the main questions to be answered in this study are:what is the current situation of students' interest in mathematics learning in rural middle school students? What are the factors that affect rural junior high school students' interest in mathematics? What does the strategy that raises rural junior high school student mathematics study interest to have at present stage?Through the comprehensive use of literature,questionnaire,interview,classroom observation and case study methods,this study takes the students of L middle school in Shizuishan city as cases to explore and study the above problems,hoping to provide strategic support for cultivating the interest of rural junior middle school students in mathematics learning.The study came to the following conclusions: first,the overall interest of rural junior middle school students in mathematics study is relatively low,and the interest gradually decreases with the increase of grade.Second,there are many factors that affect the interest of junior middle school students in mathematics,including personal factors and school teachers.Thirdly,the strategies to cultivate students' interest in mathematics learning in rural junior middle schools mainly include :(1)to cultivate students' learning habits according to students' gender and age characteristics.(2)make full understanding of students' mathematical learning before class,and try to teach students in accordance with their aptitude.(3)teachers should play the role of mental health education.(4)teachers should play a good role in mathematics classroom teaching(It contains a number of specific teaching strategies).(5)teachers should create a diverse learning environment.(6)school authorities should correctly guide parents toimprove their self-quality and strengthen the function of family education.(7)school authorities should establish an effective home-school contact mechanism to reduce students' anxiety in math learning.In proposing these strategies,the researcher further points out how to implement these strategies and clearly explains the matters to be paid attention to when implementing these strategies.
