Chinese teaching content gradually become the focus of attention with the development of the Chinese curriculum and teaching reform.How to select the chinese teaching content and improve the efficiency of classroom teaching has become the important content of Chinese curriculum construction.Novel as an important style of Chinese teaching material selection, and is known as the narrative style, the teaching of the style especially the choice of teaching content has been divided,so that presents different novel teaching pattern in teaching, make a lot of students to the novel teaching indifferent, and even boredom.Junior high school as an important stage to students to understand the novel teaching, should be reasonable selection of novel teaching contents according to the need of students’ physical and mental development,for students to continue to learn and to lay the foundation for the long-term development. This paper study junior high school novel teaching content choice,mainly from two aspects:first, from the case(including literature, video, network information, etc.) in the analysis of existing problems and explore the reason;Secondly on the basis of this puts forward feasible strategies.This thesis is divided into five parts:introduction.On the research background,purpose, significance interpretation and analysis of the related literature of junior high school novel teaching contents in order to understand the status of forefathers’ research.The first chapter, the junior high school novel teaching content overview. For articles involved in the novel, the teaching content of two concepts and related content through the analysis and interpretation in the form of table statistics are junior high school teaching materials in the novel selection is analyzed.The second chapter, the present problems existing in the junior high school novel teaching content and the reason analysis. Through the case study analysis of the existing problems in current junior middle school novel in teaching content, mainly summarized the well-rounded teaching content of the novel, a single rigid, casual, useless and even mistakes and problems from the course developers, materials chosen editor, teachers, students and curriculum evaluation and so on to discuss the cause of the problem.The third chapter,the basis of a junior high school novel teaching content selection. From the novel itself characteristics, the teachers teaching, curriculum standards, exam outline, and students, find out the series on the basis of choosing strategy to lay the foundation for the following.The fourth chapter, junior high school novel teaching content selectionstrategy. According to the problems and cause analysis, combined with the basis of a novel teaching content choice, from the course developers, materials chosen editor,teachers, students and curriculum evaluation in five aspects to research, bring novel classroom vitality, make the novel and even reading teaching unusually brilliant.
