Novel teaching is one of the key of language teaching,students are always more interested in the work of the novel from the teaching material.But even with such advantageous conditions,the effect of the novel teaching is not very ideal.More and more teachers begin to reflect on whether on the design of novel teaching content is wrong,the teaching content of estimation and stereotypical,the way of teaching reading boring and audio,the emergence of these problems have led to students in the face of the most like to read the text,but difficult to mention interest in study.In this paper,which is based on people of PEP fiction language teaching material,is divided into five aspects this paper expounds the research on junior middle school novel teaching content design.The first chapter through collecting a large number of teaching cases,investigate the present situation of the junior high school novel teaching contents,summarizes the existing problems and attribution of the problem.The second chapter,respectively from the Chinese curriculum standard,the language teaching material,students situation and novel style,combing the novel teaching design theory basis.The following content around the three elements of the novel "characters,plot and environment" to explore novel teaching content design train of thought,and study the specific strategies of the junior high school novel teaching content design,is the most important sections of this topic research.The third chapter first introduced from the perspective of narrative theories,narrative language,narrative time and narrative perspective as novel is an important part of the teaching content;Secondly,with the method of reveal the plot of the novel,for teachers to design absorbing novel story provides Suggestions for the teaching content.The fourth chapter firstly from the perspective of comparative perspective,by comparing the main and minor characters,the different characters in the novel and the character changes before and after,talking about how the novel characters teaching content of design more plump and stereoscopic;Second,select the introduction of the original text,the text of the novel,the novel way of supplementary reading materials such as masters,trying to build a more comprehensive and more flexible characters teaching content.The fifth chapter explores the rich connotation of environment description as the emotional body,and try to development environment description in the story of the hidden attribute,emphasizes the unique significance of environment description,discuss how to design more rich literary taste novel environment teaching content.
