In recent years, the curriculum reform has gradually transitted from eastern coastal areas to Central and Western areas. Sichuan province as a big education province in Western area, having fully implementing the reform for classroom teaching since 2010. The reform aimed to promote students ’ all-round development,which concerned not only all students ’ co-development of Humanities and Science,but also the personality development of students. With the curriculum reform, several middle schools in Sichuan province attempted at conducting the curriculum reform.In these schools,for advancing the reform of classroom teaching,Langzhong Middle School in Nanchong implemented the "three-stages and five-step" teaching reform.Through field trips to study the application of the above teaching model in high school history class, I can analyse the teaching mode’s content, features and problems.This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter, overview present situation of history teaching in high school,analyse the developmenting process of the "receptive type of teaching" in China and the reason for occupying mian status in education for a long time.The second chapter, analyse the "three-stages and five-step" teaching models of pedagogy and psychology theories.In order to tie with the teaching model and teaching idea,teachers and students’ change their original idea,the school take measures to regulate the Management and Assessment.According to the teaching model specific arrangements of steps,teachers prepare the corresponding Learning Materials.The core of classroom teaching is Inquiry activities,which teachers and students participate in together.The third chapter, explained the application of the teaching model in high school history teaching.Taking“The New Culture Movement”,which teached by a Langzhong Middle school teacher as a example,using the method of Educational Narrative for Rendering the complete classroom instructions.In accordance with the teaching mode’s requirements,I design the lesson of “The Early Period of New China’s Diplomatic”and then teach the lesson.After that,I summarize the characteristics and defects of the teaching model,so as to provide recommendations for the improvement of classroom teaching.
