The Impact Of Establishing Basketball Project For Senior Middle School Entrance Examination Of P.E In Xi’an On The Basketball Teaching Of Junior High School

Students’ physique is an important part of national physique. It is also the new emerging force of national physique. It receives serious attention by governments all over the world. Due to the continuous decline of physique in China, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and state department have jointly issued “Opinion on Strengthening Juvenile Sports and Building up Juvenile Health”, which points out that “completely carry out the physical examinations for junior graduate students, enlarging the proportion of physics scores in comprehensive quality assessment”. After that, middle school graduates physical exam is carried out in China. In 2009, the physics scores are included in the examination of senior high school entrance examination in Shaanxi Province again. In recent years, Xi’an take an active part in the reform of physical examinations for junior graduate students, aiming to increase the scientific level of the examination. In 2014, Physics Examinations Working Plan of Junior Graduate Students in Shaanxi Province, which is based on National Students Health Standard, introduces basketball for the examination for the first time. It is a popular and recreational sports, contributing to the improvement of students health, which plays an important role. Meanwhile, it will promote the teaching of basketball in junior high school. The thesis aims to make a contribution to advancing complete diathetic education physics reforms in schools, promoting students physique and putting forward some advices of the physical examinations for junior graduate students in Xi’an by the analysis of the creation of basketball courses in junior high schools and its impacts on basketball teaching and junior students physique.The thesis adopts methods of literature consultation, expert interview, questionnaire survey and comparative analysis. The impact of establishing basketball project for senior middle school entrance examination of P.E in Xi’an on the basketball teaching of junior high school can be concluded as follows:Firstly, after the creation of basketball in the senior high school entrance examination, a number of teaching plans and objectives for basketball has been carried out, which increases the teaching of basketball in senior high schools. It promotes the master of basketball skills, the increase of students’ physique and the increase of basketball scores in senior high school entrance examination for students.Secondly, after the creation of basketball in the senior high school entrance examination, the school makes an adjustment for the entrance examination, launching reforms in teaching methods, which helps students master the methods for the basketball tests. However, some schools do something that hinders students’ master and development of basketball skills and tactics, physique etc.Thirdly, after the creation of basketball in the senior high school entrance examination, the basketball courts and equipment can be utilized fully and rationally. More schools hold basketball competition games, providing more time for students to learn basketball.Fourthly, after the creation of basketball in the senior high school entrance examination, most students have a new understanding of basketball, which generates students’ interests in basketball, mastering basketball skills, promoting physique.Finally, after the creation of basketball in the senior high school entrance examination, each school takes basketball tests and criteria as the assessment criterion, which hinders the development of students’ basketball skills, and students’ physique.
