The professional learning community as a new organization mode has broken the mode adopted by the industry. With new concept of community in the school, it has explained the real meaning of Learning Spaces, which is learning is the common cause of all people in the learning environment. The undertaking involves students, teachers, managers, principals and education leaders and so on. Public class provides a valuable platform in primary and middle schools, because it can promote the learning and communication. What is more, with the culture cultivation, Public class also encourages teachers to get to know daily routine, to reflect, to direct their own attention to their students’, and from ‘personal effort’ to ‘community of learners’. Additionally, this platform can create public class support, collaborative learning environment, to bring the students, teachers, leaders and experts together, so that they can carry out sustainable and professional learning, while sharing the common values and vision as well as shared practice. The purpose is to improve the teaching methods and promote students’ learning.Due to the fundamental and practical characteristics of the primary school subject, more focus has been placed on it. Through the interview with the teachers and the observation of the information on the development of public class, it was found that during the process of the public class activities, the prototypes of the professional learning community has been formed among the teachers. That is common goals, cooperation, the members of a community, teachers’ practice and reflection, and so on. However, for the purpose of promoting teachers professional learning community, there exist problems in the existing form of public class building, which contribute to the cooperation between teachers to a certain extent. Nonetheless, this kind of cooperation is more like the superior issued administrative requirements, it is a kind of the behavior of the teachers that even themselves not aware of it. Even though the cooperative behavior exists, according to the teacher, the public class is to be superior to others instead of win-win. The evaluation and feedback of public class from others often set the teachers in a passive state. The expert review for teacher lack of a concern on cooperation between teachers, the teacher’s own comprehension and reflection are also barely addressed.In order to take better advantage of the public class platform to help build a professional learning community, teachers can optimize courses from the following aspects. Firstly, to enhance the teachers’ awareness of the importance of the cooperation in the course; Secondly, to strengthen the long term cooperation, which is based on university public class as the platform; thirdly, to actively explore and promote the cooperation form of public class. For example, public classes that are on the premise of peer guidance and purpose; fourth, to establish development mode of the public class evaluation, to focus on the cooperation between teachers in the public class, attach importance to teachers’ reflection and practice after public class.
