Digestion And Reconstruction: An Empirical Research On Cultural Identity Of College Students From Hong Kong, Macao And Taiwan In Mainland

Chinese excellent traditional culture is a powerful spiritual force to support the unity of the Chinese nation, and promotos national unity. But in recent years, the separatist has been constant rising. Along with the communication of people, some hidden value conflicts and cultural conflicts have gradually surfaced. It is a strong challenge to the stability of the three places on both sides of the strait.Cultural identity education is an important part of ideological and political education in universities. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students are a special group of college students, and also a special object in the ideological and political education in universities. This study to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students studying in Huaqiao University and Jinan University as the research object, through empirical research, focused the students’ cultural identity status, and shown it from three levels of cultural awareness, cultural attitude and cultural behavior. Then, the formation of the present situation is the result of a variety of factors. Firstly, it’s the contradiction between the public’s pursuit of economic interests and spiritual supply. Secondly, it’s the differences in the concept of "one country, two systems". Then, it’s the game between traditional culture and heterogeneous culture. Lastly, it’s the emotional contradiction between national protection and multiple fusion.Therefore, in order to deal with this complex situation, constructing the cultural identity students, we need to continue to vigorously develop the economy, rooted in Chinese traditional culture contains, refer to the outstanding achievements in developed countries (regions), relying on innovative education, to long-term mechanism to students’ cultural identity education to escort the Emperor convoy, guide students gradually from the cultural natural identification to cultural understanding of identity, for the ultimate realization of the national identity and lay a solid foundation.
