The students of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, in mainland China, are faced with the problems of learning adaptability and life adaptability under different cultural background. The study build on the theory of Ward and Kennedy of the identity of the local culture have impact on individual adaptability. This research systematically discusses impact of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Students’ cultural identity on their academic adaptability and life adaptability through the questionnaire survey of 440 college students from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan in 4 universities in Wuhan, and used SPSS and AMOS to analysis the obtained data.The results show that: first, the degree of life adaptability, cultural identity, learning adaptability of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students are in general level; Second, learning adaptability and cultural identity of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students is positive correlation, the stronger sense of cultural identity, learning adaptability is stronger; Third, life adaptability and cultural identity of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students is positive correlation, the stronger sense of cultural identity, life adaptability is stronger; Fourth, Hong Kong Macao and Taiwan Students’ cultural identity have stronger influence on life adaptability than learning adaptability. Verified the research hypothesis.The research also found that enhance their cultural identity is advantageous to better interpersonal interaction. Interpersonal interaction, learning adaptability and life adaptability of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students are positive correlation, the better the interpersonal interaction, learning adaptability is stronger, so is life adaptability. Not only cultural identity have a direct effect on adaptability, but also has indirect effect on it through interpersonal adaptability.
