Research On Training System Of Volunteer For Large Sports Events In China

Volunteers have become an integral part of modern social structure, the world focus on the volunteers in sport event of its special services and broad coverage.With the Beijing Olympic Games is approaching, China’s tournament volunteers is gotten the unprecedented attention,a growing number of volunteers are put into major tournament of voluntary service in the past.With the large sports events increase in the number of projects increased,the expansion of the scale,the number of volunteers has increased,the content of its more diversified services, the scope of activities of the space and extended to large sports events and related fields,the quality of the volunteers have put forward higher requirements,hence the need for more training proposed.After a long period of practice,our volunteers in the management of large sports events has accumulated rich experience,but there are still many shortcomings,especially in the training of the development of human resources.The voluntary service of the cause has late start in China, the tournament volunteer training is a brand new subject,how to use the platform of large sports events,and tap potential resources and improve the quality of volunteers and the promotion of the development of voluntary service,is to examine in depth.This thesis aimed at the analysis of the domestic and international large sports events volunteer training,researching on the training organizational system,training programme,training implementation,as well as training policy for China’s large sports events and volunteers training to provide countermeasures and suggestions,to enrich our volunteers management theory in large sports events.The thesis employs the method of documentation,questionaire,interview and mathematic statistics to research the domestic and international volunteer training system in large sports events.The results show that China has initially formed with Chinese characteristics volunteers training system in large sports events and accumulated rich experience in training content, training methods,teacher resource and so on,but there are still problems. First,training organizational system goes with strong government-run.Secondly,the training contents are lack of pertinence, effectiveness,the methods are lack of interaction,thus affecting the effectiveness of the training.Thirdly,participants served with little experience and lack of a sense of responsibility.After analysis of the problems exists in the volunteer training system,the proposed China should strengthen the publicity of the concept of volunteer services and optimize training contents,make training methods diversity,establish powerful resource sharing platform,fully mobilize social forces, integrate social resources,improve the training system to meet the modern needs of large sports events,to promote China’s development of the cause of voluntary service.
