Since21th century, with the rapid integration of communication technology and computer technology,and the quantity and the speed of information transmission is greatly improved, the gateway plays an important role as the portal and management of information transmission in the process of information transmission. At present,the communication mode of many gateway equipments in the field of industrial control is single and it can only communicate with the terminal of the same network.lt can not meet the needs of Internet access of heterogeneous network and different communication modes (including the difference of transmission protocol,interface mode and data types) of the same network. Although intelligent and information of terminal equipment has been quite popular,the communication mode of terminal equipments of different manufacturers and different types is very difficult to be the same.In addition,a large measurement networks usually consist of multiple heterogeneous local area network,which will be a great challenge to connection of measurement and control network and centralized control and management.Aiming at the above problems,on the basis of analyzing the research background and development of intelligent gateway,with the actual needs of the measurement and control system of application engineering of renewable energy, analyzed and compared the existing gateways system and measurement and control systems,I make the design scheme of intelligent gateway based on embedded system and multiple communication,design the hardware and software system,build the test platform and complete the test of intelligent gateway.The result of test show that the intelligent gateway achieve the desired goal,users can access the server of measurement and control center with web browser,which mean that users can query and control the equipments of measurement and control,and users can also operate the equipments with mobile terminal at the scene.In the process of designing the intelligent gateway, the main work of this paper are as follows:(1) According to the demand of function and performance of the intelligent gateway,I choose the right hardware devices especially the core device,and use the32bit RISC microprocessor S3C2440A as the control core of the system.I learn many communication methods and interface technology,and then realize the hardware system of intelligent gateway with the design of core board and extended communication modules.(2) According to the function requirement of intelligent gateway and hardware system,I choose the right embedded operating system and study the technology and methods of the conversion of data transmission protocol,embedded database,synchronization of distributed database,reliability of long-term continuous operation and improving the data processing speed of mobile terminal,design and realize the embedded software system of intelligent gateway. (3) I build a test platform based on the application engineering of renewable energy, list the requirements and methods of test,and build the corresponding test environment.Then I complete the function and performance test of the intelligent gateway and analyze the result.(4) The thesis finally summarizes the work that has been done and proposes the research direction in future.
